A message from the Captain and Lady Captain of the Society

Hello and welcome to the EGS website.

Established in 1998, EGS continues to thrive and grow as the seasons pass by. We welcome all members and prospective new members to a full season of competitions in 2012.

EGS is a friendly golfing society with both male and female golfers of all varying standards. We run weekend and midweek competitions throughout the summer (April – August) and weekend competitions (weather permitting) during the winter months (September – March). Gents competitions are normally on Sundays and ladies on Saturdays. The seasons’ competitions finally culminate with the Prize Giving Evening in November.

The aim of the EGS website is to keep our members up to date with news and information about our Society. Whether you are a member, visitor or just mad about golf, we hope you enjoy using our website on a regular basis. For all new members, application forms to join the Society are available at the Pro Shop.

We look forward to driving the Society forward, supported by the excellent committee of volunteers.
